I'm lost with DAZ3D and DSON

Is there a CLEAR manual how to install DAZ-genesis and later content?
I am migrating to Windows 8 on a new PC and thought this would be a good time to re-construct everything from the base up.
This installer thing drives me crazy, and manual install appears to be changed also.

Also please how can I UN-install to the root and absolutely.

    Are you using DAZ Studio or Poser and the DSON importer?

    Yes, that is my main app and managed to get things working there. .
    In the mean while I found out that:
    - you have to go into settings and set the target directories
    - if you push a reload from the site you start a new instance of the install manager that does not know your existing products

    I have not yet tried is DAZ3D app likes my setup.

    OK, just found it doesn't. Install manager does not know how to install.
    well Too Bad for DAZ.

    Update:
    I have Studio working now!
    The install manager had not set the place where it stores the content.
    Sigh!
