Alembic Exporter for DAZ Studio

do I understand this right
that this product allows me to import my daz animation characters into Maya or 3ds?
does it work like Poser-fusion? i would like to learn more about this plugin any input be great :)

    No, it's more like .mdd - it passes the motion of the individual vertices, so there's no dependency on rigging or SubD methods but it isn't very editable in the destination application.

    Oh.. I was hoping it worked like poser fusion. It be cool if we had a plugin like that though
