i'm watching the parameters tutt, the tabs are on top, rather than on the side? how'd he do that?
and, was there a trick to getting rid of 'what do i do' clutter?
thanks :)

Different layout maybe
but, how can i move the tabs to horizontal?
Window > Workspace > Orient Tabs Along Top
Mine has been set that way to match the old DS3A style that I still prefer.
awesome. thank you :)
one of my big problemos, the menu font is so tiny it swims in my eyes.
after i make a pane undockable, how do i make it dock again?
-thanks!
i'm using the city limits layout. i tried to use customize to put the 'advanced menu' on the menu.
sees it in the list, but how to add it?
couldn't find the secret button, lol
thanks.
To Dock you just DRAG the window (pane) where you want it.
not seeing that option :(
ahahhhh somehow this could add the command?
You can add it using Customize or just switch to a better layout
got the tabs orients! yayy! thanks.
can i save a, i guess it's a pane. so for instance, when i open the render settings tab, can i group another tab with it to open together?
can i open 2 content library tabs? or 3?
i'm doing a lot of scrolling up and down to get to the fancy lights
You can't have 2 content library panes but if you use the tree view you can have it display two side by side and you can have the Lights and Cameras panes as well as the Content Library tab.
side by side is fabulous. Thank you! :cheese:
To group tabs side by side in one pane.
Say you have Content in its own pane and you want to add another tab.
Click on a tab (where its name is), hold the mouse and drag it alongside the Content tab in the pane.
If the tab is in a pane with others, it's sometimes easier to drag it to the center of the workspace so it becomes a pane, then drag it to your chosen pane.
I have 4 panes with all the tabs I need in them - 2 on the left, 2 on the right - and they're grouped side by side, with the lesser used pane on the monitor edge (far left and far right). When panes are docked side by side, you'll see a pane 'button' appear which allows you to open/close the entire pane. So I just keep the edge panes closed until I need them, leaving only the main left and right panes.

I run a 100% custom Style, it is based on the Old DS3A layout but gives me access to every tool DA4.6.2 has to offer. I can work very fast with this layout... Warning its a 1920x1080 image...
I only have the Pane(s) I need open when working, here they are all on screen at once...
