content library issues with DAZ 4

I did have a few issues in DAZ 3 with getting stuff to show up in the library, and it took a while to organize. But in DAZ 4, the content library is atrociously unorganized. I cant seem to organize anything because i cant drag and drop files in the library, and when i install a new model, it appears scattered around. Like for instance, i install a model, and its morphs and poses appear in the Daz studio formats section, but then i gotta dig through the Categories section just to find the main model itself. I actually put up the directory within the Daz studio formats section to be set to My Daz 3D Library.
At least the genesis figures are organized there, but when i installed the African Elephant it appeared burried within the Categories section. The elephant appeared within a folder named default, then from there it was in a folder called figure, than thats where i found the animal folder, then in the folder called land, thats where i found the elephant. So i had to dig, which was ridiculous. Because i cant drag and drop anymore in DAZ 4, i couldnt put the elephant in the animal folder that was already in the Daz Studio Formats section. I installed the Michael 4 and i had the same problem, only this time the main model didnt work for some reason. I dont know what this issue is, but DAZ 4 has made it impossible to organize. I install a model, and it gets scattered around the library, burried in random places. Its very irritating to go around and find stuff. I remember being able to organize easily in past DAZ studio versions, even in old poser i was able to easily organize, but now i cant do that. Can anyone help me out with this? Or should i get another 3D program that allows me to organize stuff in the library more easily with simple drag and drop?

To move content in the Content Library pane, right-click on the content thumbnail, then from the context menu, select Categorize. Then browse to whatever folder(s) you want to put it in, and check the checkbox in front of those folders. (If you are actually moving it and not copying it, you will also want to browse to and uncheck the current folder it is already in, unless it's in Default > Unassigned where that will happen automatically.)
You can click one thumbnail then click to select a range, or click to add other thumbnails to the selection.
While browsing, you can also create new subfolders by right-clicking on a content folder name and selecting "Create New Subcategory".

if you want to move (or duplicate) an entire folder and it's subfolders instead of content thumbnails, right-click on the content folder in question, then select either "Move Category" or "Duplicate Category".

I just re-read your post, you stated that you already had it organized in version 3. You should be able to keep that organization. It's been too long since I did it, so I don't remember for sure, but I think (verify this elsewhere before you try it!) that you might want to research the "Migrate Old Content Database" menu option in the Content Library pane's menu?

If you are going from version 3 to version 4, if I remember correctly the Content Library tab looks different because there are more options. I think what used to be everything as it was previously categorized is now found within the "Categories" top level category. The other items (DAZ Studio Formats, Poser Formats, Other Import Formats, and Products) are just different ways of viewing/accessing your content.

Thanks for the advice, i actually was able to move content, but i was only able to duplicate it. I didnt find a "Move Category" option anywhere. Duplicating just makes organizing more confusing. Its very ridicoulus that now DAZ wants me to duplicate, rather than move files around. Files are just, scrambled around, not in their proper places. And i decided to install new figures, and models

It's two menu items down from "Duplicate category".

Are you trying to move one of the built-in folders? Those can't be moved, only new folders that are created. Folders that can be moved have a U on the icon.
