These are so very beautiful and a much needed addition to a few WIP scenes that were put on extended hold due to insuffient content. This will for sure beef up the scenes with the historical addtions they need. Thank you. Thank you. I'm a huge fan of all your Victorian set pieces and scenes. The quality and craftmanship is simply outstanding. Can't wait for more.

Unfortunately they're IRAY only. If anyone's bought them who has RSSY iray to 3dl convertor, could they give them a quick go to see how they convert to 3dl?

I think what I love most about the Florals for Rococo set was the tendancy for period rooms to adopt one colour - such as the Pink Room or the Blue Room - and these will immediately add to the historical accuracy of these scenes. It will undoubtedly be a great addition to https://www.daz3d.com/the-blue-room-iray-for-victorian-decor-2-3 . And of course, you can never have too many frames...my god the Victorians (as well as some other periods) were so fond of filling every inch of a room with a framed picture, or a plate, or just about anything else to fill a wall. Just check out the attached picture - imagine having to dust all that back in the day.
LaurieS has consistently made the most beautiful things, first for Poser, and now DS than probably any other vendor for the last 20 years :). Thanks LaurieS! :)

I use Iray only and just touched 3Delight when I first got into DAZ Studio. I have RSSY Iray to 3DL and threw together a quick scene that has Rural Chateau, some of LaurieS's furniture and the new vases and the frames. This is no way a good render or composition, but I wanted to let you see the objects can look just as good with the converter. I was surprised at the speed of the render. Also, I am fairly ignorant of best possible lighting in 3Delight, so if anyone else has the time to add to this, I would appreciate seeing your versions.

Thanks Mary, might need a little tweeking on the surfaces for transparency and glossiness but that's come across fine for a quick render, they've been sitting in my cart all morning, so I'll go check out now.
Just a note, I've passed this onto Laurie.. she'll check in when she has the chance.. she's juggling real life at the mo which is taking her away from the PC (it's nothing to worry about though!)

They did indeed....but the work hours I meant....insane
Just think though, today, we not only try to cram a nanny, cook, housekeeper, groom, gardener, general staff into one person, she and he are often working outside jobs at the same time. Insane.
Yeah, the move to Iray only is a PitA, but I'd rather have them and have to run conversions than not have them.
The modelling is exquisite and the materials used are perfect.
Have to confess that LaurieS's work epitomises the way I'd love to have my RL house. In the last three years I have started gathering timber so I could make a half tester bed to my own design (done before I returned to DS last year after a 10 year interlude), which actually looks remarkably like the bed in the https://www.daz3d.com/reflections-furniture-iray furniture set. What more could I say about how much I like it?
Hi everyone! Sorry it has taken me a couple of days to reply, my parents were in a bad car crash Sat. eve.. but they are going to be fine, dad just has cuts and bruises , my mom was not as lucky with a c2 fracture,, but sounds worse than it is , there is no paralysis, she will be in a body brace for six months but will make a full recovery!
This was a nice thread to read during a week that was pretty crap so thank you all very much for the kind comments, they mean a lot! Getting feed back on a set makes it so much easier to get an idea for the next project as well.

I too wish your parents a speedy recovery, an add my thakns for the vases and frames. Even more thanks for putting the OBJs in, so people like me can use them. Hopefully I will get a chance to boot Bryce up over the weekend and the I can show you how they come out in Bryce.

Yes, including .obj files really will make these accessible to a lot of people who probably would sheer off without them.

You must be so relieved that your parents have pulled through, and I too wish them strength and good health in the coming months of healing. I experienced a similar situation happen a few years back. It totally put life into a new perspective. Our thoughts are with you.

Do you have the following product installed: https://www.daz3d.com/millennium-environment ?
Serengeti is a texture add on to that, so you need to own and have installed the millenium environment, though it is not listed as a required product.
Fortunately the required product is very cheap if you are a PC+ member.
That is a really old product by the way, and there are many much better ways of having an African savanna. The millenium enviromnents are really just a picture background with a few bill board trees. Not bad for its era, but showing its age now.
