Something is amiss with the files. I uninstalled Metropolis Nights again and reinstalled using Daz Central this time. Daz again shows Metropolis Nights as uninstalled. If I launch Metropolis Nights from Daz Cental, I get an error popup window in Daz Studio stating, "A file needed by the 'resources' interactive lesson can not be found." See the screen capture below. However, if I manually navigate to where the Metropolis Nights files are installed and I double click the 01 Preload All.duf file, it loads into Daz Studio. See the screen capture below.
For folks who are having download issues, last night the product had no download links at all and I had to file a ticket. The CS person said it was a known issue so this may be on the Daz store side.
The Metropolis Night set is exactly what I needed because I use a lot of urban street-level props and it usually takes a lot of compositing to make it look like they're surrounded by buildings. I'm going to at have to grab the other Metropolis sets because this works super well, and if there are any more sets in the works I'm very interested!
hi I cannot get this to show anything, the cameras loads and that is it no background, the HDR shows up in enviroment map but not on preview, it does show up in a render but without any preview of it in viewport I cannot use it?
I guess the question is do have something that needs enabling or does this not work in daz 4.12?
Good time of day! Yes, I noticed that your product allows you to save time at times when creating animations, it's worth it! But there is a problem. The problem is that over time, you want to complicate the scenes, for example, that two or three cars would move in the scene, and a dozen passers-by would walk along the sidewalks... how to build the movement paths in the scene of all the characters? Where can I read about it?
I first started buying bought Movie Maker version 3 and many background packs in 2009. More recently, I have bought Movie Maker Iray and several of the Iray HDRI packs. I also recently bought Movie Maker for Daz Studio 4.6 so that I could use it in DS version 4; I have DS version 4.15 installed. I was exploring with Movie Maker for Daz Studio 4.6 yesterday and it appears to work fine except for rendering a movie. Rendering a still image works fine and rendering an image series works fine but when I try to render a movie, I get a Memory Access Violation error message and the operation fails. I tried each of the five available video compression choices with no success. Is Movie Maker for Daz Studio 4.6 incompatible with the latest versions of Daz Studio 4? Will it run in DS version 3.x? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I'm trying to get answers on two questions about this product (really I have all the Metropolis Movie Maker products). Val has a YouTube video on this but for some reason isn't answering my questions there. Maybe another user knows?
What are the two render presets (files "03" and "04") for? It doesn't appear that they do anything, though I could be wrong.
When I try to adjust zoom using the dolly zoom icon as Val does in his YT video, the camera does not zoom at all. This makes me think I have something set up wrong, but there is no step-by-step tutorial really - just that video. I can zoom the camera of a sort when I adjust focal length, but that's not the same thing - at least it's not when there are physical objects (not just the HDRI) in-frame. Since dolly zoom physically moves the camera, how does the dolly zoom button work in his video demo when using a locked camera?

Hello,
I cannot get any of the cameras to zoom into a scene..
I can get a camera to rotate, but not zoom in. When I try to zoom in, the only graphic that becomes bigger is my character.
Please advise.
Thank you.
