You've hit the same snag that I've been trying to remedy for a while. The only solutions I've found are to either import a morph 'fix' or rig the dress up from scratch. If someone knows a way to copy the skeletal data ONLY without it trying to alter the geometry it would certainly save me a lot of time fiddling around.

@ SWEETER_14, your problem is the rig, the WM that you got from the transfer utility was designed for a biped figure and not a dress/robe, you will need to redo the WM on it to stop it from stretching.

@ HoF, your's is half the rig and half the crappy auto-generated morph system, it tries to force the mesh into the shape of the underlying morph, so things like skirts end up with a crumple zone at the crotch, the only remedy for that is to stop using the auto-generated morphs and make your own.

Bejaymac thank you for your answer >> I appreciate if you but the steps with snapshot or add tutorial link to redo the WM

about your case, (to export iclone as FBX ) you can not add ghost bone, or use product which use ghost rigs
    to remove problem.

if you add ghost rigs, you can not animate easy like walk cycle,,

after all you need to adjust and smooth weight-map for thighs and shins without no ghost bones

Usually If the Cloting weight map work well in daz studio, export to cilone, it work well too.

(Though I do not know FBX how keep daz triax weight map, I think they change as general weight.
I always tried to ask , these DAZ triax weight (with buldge) are used other program too,
or how they change when export as FBX and Collada clear,,^^; )

then there are tutoriall export long dress to iclone from daz.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxK2tlxl29U
(the ways gather clothing and Actor as one figure,
you may need not the way, about current daz triax figure, and clothing, and iclone exchange ,
you just modify weight of the dress, but you can modify weight as same as he do)

about modify clothing weight-map in daz tool,,with more detail, and step by step,
I have not found best tutoriall,,
    .
color triax weight map for long dress is still most difficult part for me too.

but there are rigging tutoriall and you may understand how to use each tool,,
    then you can try it.
