Thief outfit and thief tools

Hi there, 

As a request, I would love to see some one make tools which thieves use. 

For example,

  • a lockpick tool kit in a little pouch
  • A electronic device which connects to an alarm system keycode pad (to disable/bypass the burglar alarm)
  • A glass cutter (that cuts holes in the window)
  • A hacking device which connects to a electronic safe.

Plus, as a bonus, I would love to see car thief tools. For example

  • A Slim jim
  • A remote hacking device to unlock cars
  • And perhaps lock picks for cars too. 

Also, if anyone wants to, maybe and outfit for either G8 male or female. 
Let me know if you need more intel.

    Yeah I've got that lol! 

    I'm actually like would like I've sent which has the pouch which you can put your lock picks in. Plus the other tools too. :)

    Well, I'm working on something else at the minute, but if nobody can find what you need, I'll add it to the 'to-do' list (if you need it urgently, then you'll need to find/adapt from elsewhere). The modelling should be easy, I'd need references for the electronic gizmos if you can find them. I'm afraid I can't make the outfit but if I end up making the props, I'll mention it to the other PAs and see if anyone wants to do it.

    Thanks Silent Winter! If you can make them or somebody else that will be awesome! And it's not urgent, I can wait but I would love to have them soon. 
    I've also added some screen shots and video clips from youtube as to what I mean for gizmos to bypass alarms and all. The gizmos can close to similar but it doesn't have to be exact.

    For the electronic safe cracking gizmo, here is a link as to what I'm talking about. 

    And for the car remote cracking tool, this is what I mean.

    Yeah I've got this too! I love it! But I do want what I mentioned above. 
    Did you make that Gina Agent model?

    I would use the cord from  https://www.daz3d.com/z-pin-up-mania-props-and-poses-for-genesis-8-female because it has incredible morphs.
    Use cutout opacity to make the rest of the phone disappear. 
    Ues a cell phone model parented to one end and make a box and find a push button phone and again fade out all but the push pad stick it in the box with the keypad sticking out.

    Very handy! Thanks for sharing it. It's a clever idea as an option. I still would like one done as above also the tools I've mentioned above.

    my guess is there is a ton of work in that cord .. the box and the phone would be easy. Probably easily within the range of my skills, items build of basic shapes, but I imagine the cord and giving it movement options requires a much higher level of skill

    I'd like something like a traditional all black cat burglar outfit for g8m, complete with loot, crowbar, ski mask and beanie.

    That would be good too. Especially the loot bit. And a cat burglar outfit for G8F too.

    I've been working on a few props - are these the kind of thing you wanted? (lockpicks in pouch, window-cutter and window-pane with cutout - replaced one of the panes in a window for this scene). Still early days so the textures arent final.

     

    Currently also working on the burglar alarm (got the outside box and the inside control modelled - just need to finish texturing - then I can make the electronic decoder-thingy).

    Then will do the slim-jim as well as the electronic car-opener. Probably add a crowbar and bolt-cutters for good measure. Anything else I'm missing? (no promises but ideas are always welcome).

    Fantastic!! Perfect for what I'm after.
    I can't think of anything else at the moment. The crowbar and bolt cutters would be a good add on too. Looking forward to seeing the rest :)

    Last update - turns out that rigging bolt cutters is much harder than I'd thought (it's not like scissors, lol) so that's a no-go. For the rest - see the pics below (excuse the hasty lighting etc, they were just quick scenes I threw together). The car-decoder thing is just a box with a light and a pseudo-button (texture mapped, not geometry or rigged) - was hard to see anything in the vid you shared so I just went with 'looks plausible'.

    Now I just need to get these beta-tested and then I can release them.

    Looks great mate! Fantastic job of the security code pad and the decoders too. Yeah I thought the car decoder thing would be (a little) easy to make lol. But yeah I very happy with it. 
    That's ok about the bolt cutters, I wasn't desperate for it. Looking forward to it when it's out.
