Plugin installation problem

I just downloaded "Mimic Live" and the installation is failing. The pop up says that a path is not defined for the "Public Build" portions of the plugin. The installed portion of this plugin do not appear in the windows tab so the screen can be docked for use. Will that change if I figure out how to install the "Public Build" segments?

Public Build means it is for the DS Beta. You need to have the beta installed for the public build files to install
Where do I get the beta? Is that pre 4.6 or 4.5? I'm running 4.6 right now, if I need an older version to get this Plugin to work how do I find it? Will the plugin continue to work when I upgrade again? I know I'm no computer tech and more likely a comp idiot but I work on it a lot and DAZ is about half of what I do. So yes I'm desperate to get this to work.
You should have in your My Products or the DIM a Mimic file version for all the DAZ Studio's it supports. Just be sure you are installing the one for the version of DAZ Studio you are running.
I installed the version which showed up in DIM. It didn't specify a version of DAZ but the site lists 4.6 as usable. The Mimic Live selection does not appear in the windows tab as the tutorial mentions. The only portion of the download that does not install is the "Public Build" portion. Is it required or has something else gone wrong?
There should be a version labeled "Public Build" and a version without that text -- if you want to use the beta, install the Public Build, if you're just using the general release then ignore the Public Build.
The Public Build is Mimic for the DAZ Studio Beta Public Build. It is not a part of the Mimic it is the full Mimic for that version of DAZ Studio. If you are not running the DAZ Studio Beta Public Build you do not need that file installed.
