Eyebrows

edited December 1969 in New Users

Hello, I probably have the most uneducated question here, but umm...

How do I have different color eyebrows on my models? They change colors in the various Bree materials, but the options are too limiting. My apologies for being new and likely wasting everyone's time.

The eyebrows are part of the skin texture, so to change the brows you'd probably need to change the skin texture: either use a different character's skin entirely, or else (as you saw with Bree) use a different option for the character you are using, if there are various brow options built in (most characters don't have different brow options though). There are also some products, like this one: http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-eyebrows that allow for more brow choices.

If you want to change the shape but not the color of the brows, then you should be able to do that with morph and/or expression dials. The free DieTrying morphs (available at ShareCG for V4, Genesis, G2F, and G2M) have many brow morphs...I use them often.

does anyone know a fix for the eyebrow outline you can see it from a distance but not up close?

If lowering the Rendering Shading Rate to .5 or lower does not work I have nothing more to offer. The Seam thing is known to need a lower shading rate on Elite textures so might work for this.

well I take the opacity all the way down on the skin I don't add a skin texture and it works great. Do you think smoothing may change it?

I'm not going to lie to you, I just stopped trying to use it. I now just edit my textures in Photoshop and add those as a option in my content.

its awesome up close I want to keep using there has to be away. it should be updated to one that doesn't need the skin I take eyebrows of the skin so there is no need for a texture apply area.
