Where Does Genesis Content Get Imported To In Poser Using DSON?

I bought Genesis Evolution: Expressions. How do I get them into Poser 2012? Where exactly do they show up in the Poser Libraries?
It's a mystery to me. I can't find anything.
Thanks!

They're all dials. with Genesis > Body selected look under Pose Controls > Head and see if they're there. I don't actually have the product, but the page says no user facing files, and I'm taking an educated guess as to the category.

They won't show up in the Library -- there are no user-facing files. They will show up on the Parameters tab when you have Genesis:Head selected.

The dials aren't there. The Genesis figure I have made into a character in Poser was created before I bought the Evelotion Expression Morphs. Can I import these morphs into this already-created-Genesis-figure?

Install them to the same runtime you installed the Genesis Starter Essentials and Genesis Stater Poser Companion Files. Launch Poser and load base Genesis as you would using the DSON importer. Select the Genesis head and go down to the parameters tab. You should see a section expressions. Expand it and you should see the dials for the expression files. They work the same as the Evolution head and body morph and muscularity packs.

Did you save the actual Genesis character to the figures library or did you save the character as a pz2?

AFAIK, the actual expression morph pack are master or ERC dials for the head morphs in Evolution Head morph pack. I don't have access to Genesis or any of the things here at work tonight so I can't check but you might want to load a new Genesis, apply an expression and then open up the head morph section and see if any of the head morph dials have been adjusted. If they are master dials, you can always note down the various dial spins and apply them manually. Ok, pain, I know but it's the only way I see since these aren't really pose or expression files normally found in Poser.

Okay, I did it. I opened a new Poser scene. Loaded Genesis. Selected the Head. Went to the parameters tab and found the Pose Controls for the Head - and these new morphs are there. But when I load my Genesis figure I turned into a character before I bought these morphs, the new morphs are not there.

Your Genesis doesn't load the controls because it's no longer linked to the data folder like the original Genesis is. I don't know if you can get the new morphs into your saved Genesis. You might just have to repeat your process and save a new Genesis to get the new dials.

Try applying the expression morph to a clean copy of Genesis. Save the expression to the Poser face/expression library the same as you would for any other Poser figure.

Load your saved Genesis character and apply the expression/face file. If you do not have use external binary morph targets checked in the prefs, you might want to check it before you generate the face file. I have found in newer versions of Poser that allowing Poser to generate and use pmd's can bypass some issues.

A copy of Genesis brought into Poser with the DSON Importer should remain live and get new morphs, but if you have one exported from DS as a CR2 that's static and won't get new features.

From the sound of it, the OP saved the Genesis character as new figure the Poser figures library which would explain why when loading the Genesis character after adding the expression files they don't show up in parameters tab.

My understanding of the expression morphs is they are master dials of multiple head morphs that create the expressions.

I'm not even sure creating a Poser face/expression file from the Genesis expression will work. I can't try it because DSON and Genesis aren't on my workstation.
