I recently picked up this product:
http://www.daz3d.com/corrected-v4-uv-for-genesis
And, can't tell you how ecstatic I am with it... it makes all my V4 textures work so much better on Genesis and, damnit, I have a tonne of them!
However, we're all moving to Genesis 2, and I'm looking at this:

So... anyone who has the V4UVS for Genesis 2... is it as good as the improved V4 UVS for Genesis 1?
Basically your answer will help me determine how invested I'm going to get in Genesis 2...

Here are a couple examples between G2F and the actual V4 versions. For G2F I used the Genesis version for the mats, and for V4 I used her own mats from the Poser format folder. They seem ok to me, other than G2F's habit of opening her mouth when morphed into V4. lol
Just remember Genesis didn't have the Eye Surface so her mats won't account for that, and I didn't think of copying it from V4 to G2F.
Here's one that's a little more intricate. Surreality's Tamesis. I used the DS mats on both (it comes with Genesis and V4 versions of the base mat, the other options are shared for both).
Again, G2F on the left, and V4 on the right. G2F will take DSA mats as long as the surface names are changed. I used Dimension3D's free script to batch change all of the mats. It will autochange all of the surface names and save a copy of the mat appended with _G2. Just need to remember to copy the Torso surface to G2F's Ears after you apply them.

One of the big problems the Genesis V4UVS had was the brow and around the eyes... but these look pretty good, at least from the perspective your showing... thank you.
Yep. After I bought the corrected uvs when they were released, I swear I heard the song 'A whole new world..' go off in my head. lol
