Low Polygon Theme Sets

Low polygon sets and styles are ALL the rage and are massively popular in gaming communities.
As far as I can tell there are no low-polygon sets offered by Daz. To be clear: a nice low polygon set is different from an older model of low quality.

Are those actually low poly, though?
I do not think those specific models are.
All the same the low poly art style is pretty popular.
yeah I was looking at the styles
nobody seems to make anything for DAZ actually lowpoly
To be fair DAZ isn't a gaming community. Most of the work at Sketchfab is artists showing off their modeling skills, not creating digital art.
in my experience in the gaming communities, the reason low poly art is popular is because the users don't have access to/or know about apps like DS and others to can produce higher quality digital art. Juat look at the XNALara/XPS communties, they create all kinds of fan art outside of DS and other high end renderers and I am always seeing those users discovering they can do better with different apps like DS.
While Daz is NOT a gaming community, MANY of us make fan art of these games.
well aware, I do it all the time myself, but I usually rip the models from my games, then take them into 3DSMax and increase the mesh resolution and textures to make it more detailed.
Not all games are okay with fanart use of their models.

Predatron makes low-resolution figures and props. Search for LoREZ and see what you find.
BTW: His LoREZ Masked Hero is a GREAT figure!
Respectfully, but want to notice - lowpoly stylistic isn't exclusive to gaming community (or even 3D in general - i often see 2D illustration that mimic or intepret such style).
However, i see that many DAZ users or creators usually focus on realism, which might be a side effect on why.
I think the "low polygon style" runs counter to what most Daz Studio users would want from environments and props, so I doubt the commercial viability of props and evnvironments where Daz Studio's capabilities to model and render geometrically complex objects are largely redundant. So, a labor of love, but probably too small of a niche to sell much.
