Daz animated textures script. Will it still work? Alternatives?

Hi fellow artists. I would love to be able to animate textures in Daz. For example changing the hair color of a superhero from black to glowing blonde, like in Dragonball. Just one example of many. So I am currently looking for solutions. The only thing that I have found in the DAZ store is this:
But it is pretty old: https://www.daz3d.com/animated-textures-script-for-daz-studio

Will ist still work? Are you aware of any working alternatives? Cheers :)

  • Big thanks to both of you :)

  • In case anybody comes across this thread and is looking for more current info on this, https://www.daz3d.com/animated-textures-script-pro-for-daz-studio-3-4 seems to work fine with iray in Daz Studio 4.20 (Windows 10).  I took a chance and bought it and I was then able to load the same animated still sequence into both the Base Color and Emission Color channels of an object's texture and the resulting iray renders look great and the texture animates exactly as I wanted it to.

Hello.  If you still remember them, would you provide a brief sequence of the steps that you used to get DraagonStorm's Animated Textures Script Pro to work like she demonstrated in her product video?  I finally bought her product last week but have not been able to get it to work like she demonstrated in her video.  I’m running Daz Studio 4.21.  Thanks.
