Tailor Soft Measuring Tape

Would like to get a functional (posable) soft measuring tape. Something I could use in scenes where a character's bodyparts get measured...

    You could just do it yourself with a little patience.

    Just make a plane or a very slim cube in the shape of the measuring tape all the way unfolded, apply the surface and then rig it with bones for every few segments where you would want it to bend.

    Probably around an hours work to make it decent.

    Very tempting. The only part that frighten me is creating the bones and rigging...

    It's very well explained will show you it's not that complicated.

    He also has a lot of other nice tutorials, especially on lights, if you are interested.

    I asked a lot of PAs to do it.

    Mclean tried it in the past, but didn't finished it, after it needs at last 500 bones and would be super hard to pose.

    I don't expect that we ever get such a prop for DAZ frown
