Where is the GoZ plugin?

edited December 1969 in New Users

I have DAZ 4.6.1.39 Pro Edition 64-Bit, so unless I'm wrong I should have the GoZ plugin? But I can't find it in DAZ.

Does anyone know why I don't have it, or what I need to do to find it, or get it?

Did you install it - it's included with DS, but is a separate package? Do you have ZBrush itself? It should appear in the File menu as Send to ZBrush.

You need to install the GoZ installer. DO not install the one that says Public Build next to it. That is for the DAZ Studio Beta

Ok, I see it in my account page as shown by Choholes screenshot Is the file DS4_GoZ_1.3.2.118_Win64.exe the one I need?

Assuming you are using the 64 bit version of DAZ Studio, yes.

Do you have the latest DS, 4.6.2.118?

I have the DS version I mentioned in the first post (4.6.1.39) does that make a difference?

The version of GoZ you download n0w will be for the current version of DS (the last two sets of numbers in the file name, 2.118, show the DS version it matches). You can try to install it to 4.6.1.39, but it may not work with that version.

Mike, take a look at the Changelog...one of the builds before 2.118 (2.107, I think) updated the SDK and anything built with the 'current' SDK as opposed to the public build will not work in previous versions...so if it was built 'in house', chances are it used the 'current' SDK build environment. Things built with the 'public' SDK will still work.

Well, it didn't work, error "Library could not be loaded. File is not a valid DAZ Studio plugin, or was made for a different version of DAZ studio"

Is there a way to get the GoZ version made for my version of DAZ?

Try submitting a ticket to tech support, they might be able to get you the version that matches 4.6.1.39

DAZ support sent me a version compatible with my DAZ, unfortunately that means I know have to start learning the seemingly bewildering looking zbrush program lol

    Thanks for the help everyone
