how do i hide the Ds ground plane? stop the orange flashing? can't see what i'm doing in the scifi

wah. ctrl G doesn't work.

i'm working with the scifi lab and i can't see what i'm doing, the ground plane is in the way.

and the orange flashing is hiding things too.

help.

    Viewport context menu > uncheck Show Floor
    With a manipulation tool selected (i.e. not Node Selection), Window > Panes > Tool Settings > set Node Highlighting Draw Style to Bounding Box Only

    thank you! you keep my hopes up i can learn this s/w :)


    is there some kind of autosave in the background? every so often the interface gets busy and i have to stop working.

    i checked under preferences.

    Possibly smoothing? See if there's a progress bar running in the bottom status bar when it slows down then select the clothing items and go to Parameters > Mesh Smoothing and turn off Interactive Updates.
