Gen 4 cr2 figure and high res question

I made base resolution cr2 figures that contain all the morphs for V4 and M4 and I'm tired of having to navigate the Edit menu every time I need to convert the figures to hi res. Can the cr2 figures be saved as hi res without saving as a scene or is there a script i can create that will add the hi res with one click?
