Converting characters to genesis?

If I make a character on V4 using the morphs ++, and then convert to Genesis, is there a way to legally share that new Genesis character? or for genesis 2?

I'd like to know this as well. I know it's not allowed if you use something like "Hitomi" but I'm not sure about stuff like individual body morphs, like shin width, breast size, ear points... They all seem like a utility vs a product to me, you know?

There is also an issue with making things too similar to a product. For example, I was able to reproduce NearMe's body almost exactly using Sculptris using the default Genesis figure, but I'm afraid to share it because what I made also looks very similar to a good portion of Hitomi's body morph, and who's to say I didn't dial in Hitomi and work from there?

    It's a quagmire.

The only way that I see that is for sure legal is to simply save and share a character/shape preset (assuming it is something you made yourself and and not a purchased character preset). However, this requires that those who want to use it:

    - Have all the necessary morph packages for V4 (morphs++ for example)
    - Have GenX or some other means of transferring those to Genesis

That way all you are sharing is a recipe of dial settings.

A preset that relied on people having and using the GenX plug in to convert the V4 morphs would be the only option, as far as I can see. That assumes that the GenX-converted morphs can be relied on to have the same name for all users.
