DAZ Studio menus?

I have a very strange thing appened to my DAZ Studio. I still have the 4.6.1.33 version, and I have a habit to perform things using the drop down menus in the top menu bar, so I know quite well the menu layout...
Today I've found the menus totally changed, for example the "File" menu now has an "Open recent" voice, while the "Open" disappeared, "Window" menu has no more "Preview lights"... almost everything is different. Of course I've made absolutely no changes in anything, nor installed anything new.
The rest of the interface is unchanged, I mean the layout, the icons, etc. all are the same, just the content of the drop down menu is different.
Any idea on what happened? How do I restore my menus? I don't know if a reinstall of DAZ Studio is sufficient, I think the interface layout is not affected by the program installer

Open Recent is a new addition. You can reset just the menus, without changing your pane layout, by going to Window>Workspace>Customise (or hitting F3), clicking the Import... button, selecting Menus in the dialogue, and then going to C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\resources\menus (which is the default location) and choosing Default Advanced.dsx. Uninstalling and reinstalling won't help as the menus file in your AppData folder, which stores the current layout, will not be touched.

Thank you very much, Richard. That restored the menus, now they are complete but still they are not the ones I had before. Especially the "Open recent" feature is, from what I rean in the forums, an addition in recent versions of DS and for sure it wasn't in the 4.6.1.33. DS can auto-update? I thnk not...

It simply means that your default Menu layout failed to load (it inherits your old settings when you update DS) and the default DS version your using now loaded instead. The new stuff was there just not active in your older config that did not load fully for some reason. I've had that happen before as well.
