Lady De Lioncourt Dress - Collar/Wings Separate?

I'm fairly sure the wings are separate and I'm severely tempted to at least wish-list it for that reason, as I'm in need of some like that. What I'd really like to do, though, is to recreate something close to the black dress from 'Legend' and this is the first item I've seen with that kind of sharp, triangular headpiece/collar.

To do that, however, I'd need to do some mix-and-match combining with other costume elements and that's only possible if the triangular collar is separate... So, if anyone here has bought it, I'd hugely appreciate knowing whether this is possible. :)

Unless someone's planning to create something similar to the Legend dress, because I'd snap that up for my G1/G2 villainess characters in an instant...

Well, you could turn off visibility on the wings.

If you check the "What's included" tab you will discover that the wings are a separate prop.

    Cheers,

    Alex.

That's why I suspected they were, yeah. Very curious about the collar, though. There's a strange absence of sharp, triangular ones for Genesis 1 and 2. Always felt it odd, considering how many Disney and other stereotypical villains tend to have one; Dracula, included.

Wings are separate from the dress and the collar can be hidden through opacity in the surface tab.

Not separate to the dress, so that it can be used with other costumes?

Yeah it can be used on other costumes without any problems. Here's a quick render example of the wings with the Spring Green outfit.

Sorry, should have been more clear! I meant the triangular collar. That's the piece I'm interested in combining with elements from other costumes.

What about the collar from B25Winter outfit for V4,You could create a trans map to make it more triangular ......

Assuming that would be compatible with either Genesis figure, I honestly wouldn't have a clue as to how to go about doing that, I'm afraid.

Well since it's for V4 it should auto fit to Genesis or you could parent it to Genesis if auto fit gets wonky and if you have this http://www.daz3d.com/people/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female for Genesis2 Female it should work with her as well give me a couple of minutes and I'll check since I've got them ......and then it's just using the template to make a different transmap .......

Okay so here is a quickie render Genesis is the grey Genesis2 is the pink, the collars are autofit and there is a bit of wonkieness on the sides which won't matter if that area is invisible,or the collar can be just parented to the figures neck and will follow the pose ........
so next if you think it would work you either take the texture template into a paint program and create a new transmap or you use the polygongroup editor tool in DS and make the parts you don't want invisible. ........

For the collar from Lady De dress do this. Load only the Dress, no figure in the scene, use Tools menu> Polygon Group Editor. I set my Viewport to WireTexture Shaded for working with PGE. Select a part of the Collar, expand the selection to have all the collar you want selected, I thinks its a surface so All should work, Then do invert selected, all the dress should now be selected but none of the collar. Do Hide selected and then Delete Hidden. You now have JUST the collar as a item. Select it in your scene tab. And do Save As> Wearable(s) Preset. That should now load and fit to the loaded figure. I think. Might need a step or two different but this would be my first way of trying to do it.
