Old products and products from other sites

Ok, I'm not new to these forums nor to Daz3D. But, I am new to version 4 of Studio. I see the Content Manager and the Downloader and being able to install when you download. However, I'm not really sure how to install old products that were zip files that made a Runtime directory. I tried to just make the Runtime directory and put it inside the Daz3D folder, but no luck there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    You can't install zips from other stores with DIM. By default DIM installs to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library. If you add other runtimes then you need to make sure you also add them in your content directory within DS. Add the new folder to DS Format and Poser Format. If the packs don't show after making sure everything is correctly linked then you may need to reimport your metadata.

    If your on a Windows system you UnZip the older files to a Temp folder location. You then Copy the Runtime folder from the temp folder. You then browse to your NEW DAZ Studio content folder, the DIM one is My DAZ 3D Library, open it and Paste the runtime here. You should get a Prompt asking if you wish to Replace or Merge? You do Merge. Your done.

    Also note that content will only show in DS in the Content Library Tab and the Poser Formats section, or Products View list. This of course depends on If you have the Merge function and your Content paths are correct in DS.
