Actual eyes is described as a shader but specifies the Genesis 2 figures. Can it be applied to other eye surfaces sch as Millenium Dog, V4, M4, and Genesis?

In particular I am looking for a product to use on Millennium Dog eyes.

Thanks,
Charlie

It uses maps, so it will need the right UVs - though you probably could transfer the settings if you ued your own maps for the other eyes.

I don't have this item, but it looks to me like it is only useful for G2F and G2M.

I hope someone else can answer more specifically who has these presets. The main reason I believe that to be the case is, if it were to work on Genesis, V4 and M4 etc. etc. it would be a great selling point, and I think the PA would have made a point of mentioning that. It also looks like it has a load of texture maps, which are almost certainly UV Mapped for the figures it was made for.

I am with you, it would be great if they worked for different figures, but we will just have to wait and see if someone else knows for sure.

    EDIT:
Took me so long with my rambling reply that Richard beat me to it.

I have a different question about this product. When I apply the eye colors or reflections the eyes turn white until rendered. Is this how the product works? It's kind of frustrating not being able to see what the presets are doing to the figure in 'real time'.

Right, but on the render they look quite nice.

Yes that is how it works. Best thing to do is a spot render just of the eyes, to see if you like the settings you chose before hitting a full render.

I like the product, but sometimes the reflections aren't showing on the eye when I apply them. . Is there a trick to it, that I'm missing? I just apply the color, the eye shape, and the reflection and it should work, right?

I've been clicking the reflection, then click !Solid Refl. under Quick Adjusting.

There are sets already existing for the other figures with similar functionality by the same PA:
    For Genesis: http://www.daz3d.com/actual-eyes-3
    V4/M4: http://www.daz3d.com/actual-eyes-2 and http://www.daz3d.com/actual-eyes

Was going to make a new topic, but I might as well use this one since it's the same product and the question already seems answered. Does anyone know which model and hair are used in the promo pic for Actual Eyes 4?
