Mimic live question.

Mimic Live is currently in Fast Grab at a great price and the product page says it will work in DAZ Studio 4.6. But can Genesis and Genesis 2 figures be used with it?

    It has support for genesis. When last I used it there was not for genesis 2.

    It has support for genesis. When last I used it there was not for genesis 2.
    Aren't DMC files for Mimic Live? As there's IM00016280-05_Genesis2DMC.zip in my DIM download directory from G2 Starter Essentials... But I don't have any version of Mimic so no idea.

    I have gone ahead and purchased it since it apparently will support at least Genesis.

    I just got the fast grab of mimic....installed it and went to the plug-in section to give it the serial number. In the plugin section it says it failed to install, the reason given was it is for a newer version of daz. I have Studio 4.6 pro. What's the problem and how do I fix it?

    Please check also the release and build part of the version. You need 4.6.2.118 to get it install properly.

    I just figured that out and have it installed now. Thanks for the answer. Now I go to open it up and it can't find it. I manually search and find where it is suppose to be installed, find the file and there is nothing in the subfolders.

    Did you fill in the serial number for it?
    If you've done that you should find it at Window -> Tabs -> Mimic Live!

    ruekaka.....Thanks! Silly ol' me didn't look there! I was trying to get to it by going through Lip Sync's thing to open it up! All is well now! Thanks again!

    2 additional questions:

    can I use premade wavefiles

    is the capturing feature timelimited?

    and how does this program know which file to use after there are several in the folder ?
