Suggestion for DIM: Filter by "base figure"

I have tons of content in my library that shows up in DIM. The content is for all different base figures like V4, M4, Genesis, G2F.
I really get confused very often when I try to install content for a special base figure. Most of the products are not named clearly. There are characters named "Charlie" or "Mina" and hairstyles simply named "Rebel Hair" or "Dream Hair". Now, which is for what?
Wouldnt it be a great feature for DIM to filter content for the different base figures? To filter out everything made for Genesis, everything for V4 and so on. This would make it simple when you look for specific items.
What do you think of this idea? Could this be possible to do?

Possible? Sure. Likely? I'm actually surprised that some enterprising PA hasn't already gone in and hacked the DIM to give it more versatility. I don't expect to see DAZ do it anytime soon, however, as it would require a fairly good sized investment of time and money.
That said, what I'd really like to see first is to have that kind of categorization added to the Product Library on the account page. The data for that already exists in the store, so adding filters for Gen 4, V6 etc would be far simpler to add.
Have you checked:

maybe filter out no support for DS 3 to catch Genesis or Genesis 2

The problem is that doesn't work with things like a hair or locating shoes that are part of a clothing set. DIM is completely capable of doing the right kind of search, as is, BUT the tags simply haven't been put on the files. So for it to be effective, someone would have to go back and create new tags for every single product covering every category that you wanted to search for. That's a big order, as there are a lot of products that would require a half-dozen tags just to cover the basics. As I noted above, those tags do exist for the products in the store, so someone could theoretically come up with a program to convert the store tags to DIM tags and automatically add them, but then everyone who's already downloaded those products would have to re-download them.
