should i put something on © page notices ?

like um:

cg models are property of the daz store ... used by permission ... or used by eula agreement?
some kind of proper legal notice?

what do you put on your animation credits?

i've hopelessly lost track of my scene inventory by product name. but hoping to credit by store name.

feeling too tired to kitbash everything, starting to use some stuff 'as is'.

thanks :)

just in case mr.whedon wants to buy movie rights, he'll know straightaway he's not buying model rights from me.

I could be wrong but I don't remember off hand the EULA saying you had to credit anybody. If you want to that would be nice

As far as I understand it, you aren't required to credit items purchased at DAZ on content you sell. You have the right to use it according to the usage agreement.

Some content bought at other stores like Rendo have usage agreements.

I tend not to buy content or use freebies which require crediting anyone. I get why people want it. But it is time consuming to keep track of, and just like I don't cite my clipart or fonts, I don't want to have to cite content I pay a license for.

Just have licensing in order in case your client asks.

    That's it.

if it is asked for you need to be able to produce it
    but
even then it might not be enough
I gave up on my Drow Tales video because nothing would satisfy the Google ADsence person that reviewed that one
I sent a csv of all my DIM purchase history and purchase invoices of all my software even music ones, tbe invoice for the Drow texture from Rendo, the creative commons license for the music pdf used in compiling my music and he/she was still convinced I ripped a game and wanted to know name of game and if I had permission
I made two videos about the experience showing how I do CGI both with Google ADSense in the title linked and monetised those
still did not convince but ironically both are monetised!!!
finally after get email approval had been withheld and if I continued to submit work I could not verify my rights to publish I would be dropped from ADsense I gave up and unmonetised it.
every one I uploaded since has been approved without query.
I made it look like a video game, it featured Jaderail reliving his dungeon and dragons games in a graphic form, so maybe this triggered the scrutinization.

hi wendy. i remember you telling your woes, was on my mind as i'm putting my work together.

even if the eula doesn't require it, i feel i must have some kind of content licensing statement in the credits and © page notices.

Your not required to for the stuff from DAZ but as was mentioned content from other sites can require you too.

You my want to mention that you used cg models by DAZ as per the EULA as this can help show that you didn't rip off them from another source like a video game or are copying someone's work.

Depending on who you are doing the image for they may want you to list all the cg resources you used.

Also some of the outfits and models I've seen for free and for sale on other sites are based on characters that are copyrighted and can cause all sorts of problems. It gets real tough for example when your dealing with Lovecraft based stuff as some creations are now public domain and others are not.

I always put in a credit to any renders I do just to avoid the hassle of being accused of copying someone else and having to respond to it.
