Middle Eastern Clothing for M4 or Genesis or G2 Males?

Can anyone recommend any good sets of middle eastern clothing for either M4 or Genesis (or Genesis 2 males--but I doubt there's much for G2 males)?

I have Moroccan Dreams for M4, but I was wondering if anyone has purchased any with accessories (sashes, vests, and turbans, etc), that can be applied to the figure separately (something with some flexibility for use). I have not seen too many in this category.

Mec4d offers a kurta for Genesis here: http://www.mec4d.com/store/index.php?_a=product&product_id=80

I know I've seen headgear somewhere but I'll have to hunt around for it because I can't remember where with any certainty (RuntimeDNA maybe?).

She also does a Sinbad outfit - so depending on what was needed that may be of use

Thanks for the tips guys--I'm looking into them. I am also aware that you can "cobble" together pieces of different outfits to get that look, I'm just surprised that vendors aren't putting out much in that under-represented clothing area. I guess chain mail bikinis for unrealistic scantily-clad female warriors sell better.

If you want truly unrealistic chainmail bikini's, go to Nerd3D's site. He has some truly memorable chainmail bikinis.

Wilmap has a wonderful long tunic at sharecg (Genesis 70's Flower Power); together with fitting trousers and shaders it can be used for many kinds of Middle Eastern (or, for Europeans, Near Eastern) clothing.

Also there is the morrocan dreams series here at daz for M4.

There's Spadassassin...it's probably more of a fantasy outfit than authentic Middle Eastern clothing, but some of the elements could be useful. The new Desert Prince outfit fits into that category too.

And these aren't what your were asking for, but I thought they were worth mentioning:
    Totally Bazaar
    LoRez Arab Male

    Oops,
I had never seen her avatar, now that said, I searched your avatar.
Interesting, I could have sworn it was a man, because the name sounds kind of mechatronics / robotics
Note: not that the name is not ugly, so I have not investigated and assumed it was a man.
    thank you

Aha! HA! HA! Yeah I know ... well I think.
While it is how I see the Jaderail, I know he is a man, but I can not imagine it being blonde, white, or black, for me it is always dark blue.

    But seriously speaking now:
is actually very limited Middle Eastern style, for M4, V4 and Genesis etc..
Yes, there are products in this line style for users daz / poser, but always tending to the fantasy style, but not the reality of today's Middle East.
I think it's to avoid the term "rebels"
Here burqas, I'd love to see on sale in daz:
    http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Women+of+Afghanistan&qs=n&form=QBIR&pq=women+of+afghanistan&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk;=
Here's another that I hope to see it on sale for genesis, but as conforming clothing, and not dynamic.
    http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=arabian+costumes+women&qs=IM&form=QBIR&pq=arabian+costumes&sc=3-16&sp=3&sk=IM2&id=278F1AB38E5E2CF30076188253EBF503E88B338D&selectedIndex=0#view=detail&id=278F1AB38E5E2CF30076188253EBF503E88B338D&selectedIndex=0
    and here, men styles
    http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/arab-male-c4d/615254
I can not afford thousands of dollars to make these clothes for me, so I hope that sooner or later I'll see them for sale somewhere for poser / daz use.

There's a free Burqa here http://www.optitex-dynamiccloth.com/FreebieDownload14.php It's DS dynamic, only usable in Poser if you load it into DS and export it as an .obj file first.

There is a free dynamic Poser Burqa (for V3) here:
    http://trekkiegrrrl.dk/clothes1.htm

    As for Mec4d - http://www.mec4d.com/store/index.php?_a=document&doc_id=1
She does have a lovely singing voice too, there was a link in the old forumarchive, but I can't get at it ...

Most of the major items have already been mentioned, but Smay has a great headwear collection that includes a number of Middle-Eastern elements. Add new textures with a shader and they mix and match work quite well for male and female. http://www.daz3d.com/sg-headdresses-for-genesis There are also some useful pieces in the V4 fortune-teller add on set - http://www.daz3d.com/fortune-teller-1930-for-v4 And Poserworld has a fairly good Arabian male outfit for Michael 3. After that... well... there are a lot of harem girl outfits... :(

    Hmm,
    Thanks: Fisty, Kerya and Cybersox13
these items are really a "find"
A shame that some are dynamic clothes ... But here in Brazil there is a saying: "those who have no dog hunting with cat"
clothes are dynamic, but the best is that they exist, when I thought not.
    thanks for the indications

    Hi Scott-Livingston:
Looking at the product page, it looks like this item is most ideal for clothes of Arabias: http://www.daz3d.com/totally-bazaar-2
But these textures will work in poser?
I presume that the clothing worn in this picture is Moroccan Dreams for Michael 4 ... am I right?

The shader preset files won't but the jpg textures are all seamless and could be fairly easily applied in the material room.

I found this one for M3 while leafing through the DOs today: http://www.daz3d.com/shepherd-for-m3 Might need some retexturing, but it's there as well for kitbashing.

I don't have the kurta, but all the ones I have are conforming - Cath is just *very* good at making her stuff and having it look real. From the look of the promos the kurta is conforming - the folds are in the same places on all the promos, including the base mesh. Can't guarantee, but I think it's unlikely that it's dynamic.

    Oo--ooh! *Favorites her site*

On a similar note, does anyone know what UV map Xurge3d's Hellfish Studios-converted items for Genesis use? Do they use the V4, M4, or an entirely new UV map?

Yeah, it's not really a "real" English word. It's jargon we use around here, to mean: combining together elements of different products to create something new and different. I think the term was first used by people who build (physical, not digital) model kits.

    Kit=product
Bashing=mixing together, or using something in a way that's different than what it was intended for

At least that's how I'd define it.
