Shoppig cart issues

Added an item to the cart, went to checkout and logged in. Cart was empty, added item back to car and it says I can only add item once to cart. Tried to go to cart and it's empty?

Deleted cookies still no luck.

What am I missing?

This is a common store problem, but easy to solve. Just add any other item to your cart. Then go to your cart and it should have two items in it - the one you want and the second random one you just added. Delete the second one you added that you didn't really want to buy. Now you should have just the one you want in your cart and you can check out.
