Creature Creator- LACKING

It's a bit sad that there's not more for Genesis in the creature creator sets. Genesis 2 Female creature creator morphs and add-ons definitely meet expectation, what with the different hoof and claw and leg morphs and not just toe/finger and head/body morphs.

it's a bit disappointing that Genesis has no equivalent. I kept waiting and waiting, but it never came. lots of sets have randomized body things, such as Rawart's anubis legs, or sickleyield's conforming hooves... but not the equivalent of the creature creator legs for M4/V4 and now for Genesis 2 Female (male, sadly, still waiting on).

Why did Genesis get skipped in this morphs department? It's a big bummer. :(

With the morphs of Anibus, the two different werewolfs, the two versions the minotaur and the Lizard man you do have every leg type I can think of that would have been in a dedecated CC for Genesis. I'm not saying I would not love a real set of CC legs for G1, just that for the most part you can do it if you own the other morph characters.

That's great, if you want to buy a million (albeit, awesome) characters to get sets of morphs that I feel should have been included in the Genesis Creature creator morphs or add ons.

I mean, come on... M4/V4 had legs, and Genesis 2 female has them, but why did Genesis get skipped?

And while genesis 2 is slowly (SLOWLY!!!!) growing on me, I still much prefer Genesis for its ease of use and simplicity and being able to easily use all my gen3 and gen4 textures, and having male, female, and child all in one shape. Buying a werewolf and finding it can easily shift to female or child with a slider, rather than buying a version for V6 and another for M6, yeah, I'd totally prefer the genesis figure. There's things that Genesis 2 is better at. But there's things that the original Genesis is still better at. Sadly, I feel like Daz made, threw out a bunch of stuff, and moved on to "next" genesis figure all too quickly. There's still way more content that I want to get for Genesis. THANK GOODNESS some vendors still support Genesis- they get my business for sure!

The creature creator morphs for Genesis were very similar to the ones for V4 & M4.

If you prefer to use Genesis over G2F/G2M, I recommend investing in Genesis Generation X2.

the head and body morphs yes, but what Genesis is missing is the legs and feet. For V4 and M4 there were the add on creator creator legs- hooved legs and paws, that conformed at the hip but had their own joint from knee down. And Genesis 2 female creature creator add on has several lovely morphs to give her hooved legs and paws. But genesis creature creator sets did not have anything that did this, so Genesis was left out.

I used the ones for V4 or M4.

But the G2F creature morphs work great on Genesis - with the added bonus of mixing them with other legacy shapes.

I know what morphs come with it, but the point is, Genesis really should have had its own full set of morphs too, without having to have the tools to transfer the morphs.

Furthermore, if someone wanted to make a dialed character for Genesis, and use the leg morphs from Genesis 2, it wouldn't be sharable/distributable. Genesis truly needed and still needs a good leg resource of it own, so it can have legs in this set: http://www.daz3d.com/creature-creator-add-ons-for-genesis-2-female-s

It's very limited without them. That is the lack I speak of.

While I've largely moved on to G2 for the HD-specific stuff, for my up-close art, I'm still a big supporter of the all-in-one nature of G1. Especially in regards to both genders. Ever since Raw Art proved that HD morphs can be done for G1 - and Streetwear's amazing clothing sets are equally as good for G1 and G2, I've wondered why more products aren't compatible with both versions of Genesis.

Even so, the one thing missing from the G2 Creature Creator sets is the strange absence of non-furry textures for the tail. Between that and no wing options, it's still hugely desirable, but by no means all-inclusive.
