I like the DAZ DO License because it is not per project where you can do as many casual media projects or freebie games with your license investment to fulfill your hearts content.
Yeah, sadly, I think its one title per use. But you can use any of my content multiple times in said game (I believe)
Well to be fair, DAZ has thousands of titles... my store sadly doesn't. But let me talk to them and see what I can do. If its not mandated by them, I can maybe have em change it to at least include a few titles. I can't at this time do my entire store, but maybe I can at least compromise a little to make it more affordable.
So if I get this I can use your stuff in only one game? I am trying to figure this game license thing out. It is also almost one am so I am having difficulty thinking. I will try to figure it out tomorrow.
I am guessing if I want to use your dark elves in the game I have to get the Daz gaming license and yours too.
Anything which uses the Daz figures would require a Daz gaming license. Anything further, such as the items in Ignis' or RawArt's stores would require the additional purchase of their respective licenses. Considering you're still getting models and props at a cost highly reduced from what you'd pay on normal commercial sites, even factoring the licenses, it's pretty fair imo.
In general, if you're planning on selling your game you'll make back the license fee fairly easily.
Yeah, exactly what HeraldOfFire said. Since Dark Elves is a Genesis character, it would require both mine and DAZ.
I am inquiring internally about extending it to 3 titles instead of only one. Word is out on that til Monday. But as of now... yeah, one game.... but you can put more than one item of mine in one game (at least, I am pretty certain that is how it works)
K just popping in to let everyone know that the licenses are now extended to include 3 titles. Meaning, u purchase one license.... you can use as many of my items as you want in 3 title games. After that, u have to purchase another license. Hope that is helpful for you guys
