DSON, Genesis and PP2012

I'm working in Poser Pro 2012 with the DSON installed and I am trying to load Genesis into my scene (the Lycaon character, specifically) but I am having no luck.
Genesis loads into Poser fine, and then I apply the Lycaon morph but the Genesis figure does not change its appearance. Checking in the property parameters, with Freak 5/Genesis (as I have tried loading both Genesis and Freak 5) on the Body, I go to Actor>FantasySciFi and find Lycaon in the parameter list dialed up to 1.
I'm not sure if there is a problem with the DSON installation, as I can get DAZ Big Cat 2 to load, and Genesis does load, it just doesn't change its appearance when I apply morphs.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have PP2014. Here is how I loaded him... not sure if this will work the same in PP2012.
I load Freak5 from his own little folder in the figures tab in the My Daz 3D Library which I install my genesis and poser companion files in. It will take a long long long time for the initial DSON character load...at least for me .... I think it is faster after you do your first load of it... also it may look like it has quit processing... give it alot of time... and suddenly he pops up.
Then I go to the pose folder for RawArt and look for subfolder Raw_Lycaon. The first item in that subfolder is 1-Lycaon-MOR which I load with Freak5 body selected (the physical poses are also there if you want to apply them also). That will take a little time to load... I think Freak5 disappeared for a few seconds and then popped back morphed to the Lycaon.
Then I went over to the Materials folder in the library and found the Raw_Lycaon folder with the various materials options.
Here is a render I did in PP2014 of the Lycaon.
Thanks very much for your response.
It turns out that it was because I was using PP2012 that I could not get the Freak5 and Lycaon to load correctly.
I'm good to go now!
