Note - this is not about it not being free. That will be cleared up once someone gets into the office.
Soo... we've got the dice, the screen, the character sheets... Just need the books. :) Too bad the old Daz Freebie archive book is gone, but I guess a lot of people use PDF's these days.
Plenty of food related products have soda cans and beer bottles (What? most of my gaming group is over 21) ... anybody see anything that could be a bag of chips? :)
So now I have to re-do this one...

Thanks. I think the JimFarris one will be my best bet. Looks closest to the (way too many) books on my shelf. I thought I had it already, but as a freebie, no harm in grabbing it again. Hopefully it works in DS
This looks really cool---what a great idea! I haven't received the email yet, so I would have hated to miss this one...
All I will say is: Read the GM Screen. >:)
Heh heh.
and I think I have the models required for all of those Random Encounters. :) except maybe the first one. Don't think I have the Vampire Pumpkins.
Would have saved me a lot of work last year. Probably worth a re-do.
ouch--some of that almost as tough as "Tomb of Horrors" ;-)
And who among us hasn't rolled a 5 on the Random Encounter list before.....
I'm in the process now of making game book textures for Jim Farris's book. :) One Urban Fantasy/Horror, one Classic Fantasy, and one Anime Fantasy. I don't know if I have enough Sci-Fi stuff to do a Sci-Fi one, but I'll see. :)
If Valandar doesn't mind, I'll make the fantasy one match the game on his screen. But I'll need to make new screen textures (just for the outside. The random encounter table on the inside cannot be beat) for my Urban Fantasy/Horror and Anime Fantasy books.
"cast magic missiles at the darkness" haven't heard that one in a while.
people at work wondering why I have a stupid grin on my face...
All I can say is Valandar, Thank You! for another wonderful product.
Trekkiegrirl (spelling?) has a few food related props with morphs. I know there's pizza and beer, I thiiiiiiiiiiiink I might have seen chips once. She's on ShareCG I believe. Great stuff.
On a side note, what did you use for the skinny girl on the far left? I like that morph a lot. v4 sylph? Also, very nice render. I do a lot of medieval rendering but I never thought to do a D&D render, even though I play it! Goodbye free time for the next couple days...
8) the town you come to is in Dire Straights..... really? the whole town? are they Brothers in Arms? Do they get Money for Nothing?
This is an old picture. Those are all Mil 3 models. The GM and the girl in black are SP3, the young girl in the foreground is Laura, and the other two ladies are V3
...pizza, what's an RPG session without pizza?

Ah, thanks a bunch! I'll have to try my hand with maybe some v4 sylph and maybe some Julie for Genesis... Hmmmmm.
...looking at the promo, the girl behind the GM's screen looks a bit like my Leela character. Woe to anyone who is a player in an RPG she GM's (beware if you run into flutterbys).
Oh, if only somebody maintained a list of food freebies over in General Freepozitory... wait a minute, somebody does!

And something to round out the experience, to put under your smaller-scale Vicky (or Mike/Apollo/Dawn/Genesis/Kururu/whoever if you change the texture):

Or, if you aren't playing that game:
http://www.sharecg.com/v/24515/browse/11/Poser/Model-Base
http://www.sharecg.com/v/26658/browse/11/Poser/Base-II
Or just use a very short cylinder primitive.
...if you have Ant Farm's Base Camp sets those could be useful too.
Razor Rider's Vid Phone set also has a Pizza prop as well (and for some odd reason, a brick of C-4 with digital timer)
Ha! I just referenced this on Facebook. The first time I ever heard this was at a summer camp talent show many moons ago. One of the performers wore Whiteface...
Y'know, what good are Game Master's Tools without a game?
Have a game, on me:

I had to laugh when I seen this, I just started playing d&d, my husband is a big d&d fan, whenever we would go visit his/our friends, they always geek out and I'm list as to what they are talking about aside my husband, his brother and their two friends always played d&d before I met my husband, so they tried playing again over the past few years with limited success, maybe a night here and not again for months or almost a year, anyway my brother in law now out of the question to play I figured I'd try again since my first time I tried playing with husband and friend1 and another person was an epic failure, so March 29 was out first night they helped me create a character, and this past Saturday was the second night, so far it's fun although I'm good at the roll playing yet
...the really odd thing was D&D/AD&D as not the first RPG I played. There was a little small press game titled Beasts Men & Gods written by a couple guys from Kansas City back in the early 80s. Compared to it, D&D and even AD&D seemed so limited and "clunky".
Made much more sense in that armour only interfered with but didn't prevent spellcasting and first level characters actually had a chance to survive (even spellcasters). Spells used Mana points (that could be regenerated with rest rather than only having so many spells per day), armour could be bought by the individual piece (shirt bracers, gloves etc.) and layerd rather than by the complete suit each pisce which added to the characters "armour rating", and there was a really nice hit location, as well as critical hit/miss charts. Damage was first scored as stun or "fatigue" before going into actual hit with a few exceptions. One had to hit above the armour rating (using D100 with the character's attack bonus added on). Spells weren't automatic either as many had to be targeted using one's missile or "distance" bonus and there was always a chance of spell failure which had some interesting effects (increased by conditions like metal armour or distraction). It was also simpler for a spellcaster to create a minor one shot or charged magic item like a wand or staff or whatever.
Sad that the good ideas never seemed to get the proper backing back then.
I still have my original copy of the rulebook.
A little off-tangent, but would highly recommend Ant Farm's 'Base Camp' line of products, yes. Along with 'Tech Tiles', too. One of those things I haven't needed to use terribly much, but know that if I need something even slightly to do with such a theme, it's got me covered.
Hoping a spin-off texture set expansion for sci-fi RPGs comes along soon! I could see lots of 'Warhammer'/'Space Hulk'-related possibilities with that.
what about:
http://www.daz3d.com/diner-food-4
are hamburgers and/or chips D&D food?
Never played it - yes, I know, my geek cred just went in the gutter LOL - but I never actually knew anyone who played it, so never got invited to a game.

cans of soft drinks, biscuits...ok I'm getting munchy now....
