The Poser files works, but I'm getting the problem with the daz files. I don't know how to fix it.

Do you have the Carnival Midway installed? The Revelrie texture set is just that, a set of new textures and scene files. The actual object data is not in the scene file, it's installed with the original Carnival Midway.

If you do have it installed... either it's the usual happens-way-too-often problem of D|S4.6 not able to load a .daz scene file saved in D|S3, or all the texture expansions have been updated but you haven't re-installed the update for Carnival Midway itself.

This is an ongoing problem as old pre-D|S3 products are updated; anything updated for "legacy" compatibility apparently assumes it will have been made for D|S3, which isn't always the case. The hitch is, the /data/ files are saved in a different subfolder in D|S1 or 2, than they are in D|S3, so it's possible to have a texture set with scene files pointing to D|S3 data, but the data files were saved before D|S3 came out so they're in the "wrong" place. See all those "3_0" folders in your error message. That folder, of course, didn't exist before the D|S3 update, but D|S4.6 assumes it must always be there and things have been installed into it.

All you can do is make sure you update both the original buildings/clothes/whatever set and the texture expansions all at the same time. If anything hasn't been updated, a support ticket might help bump it up the queue a bit.

I do have Carnival Midway. As for DS3, I never installed it on my current computer. Also Cotton Candy Midway loads correctly It seems to be just Revelrie.

It doesn't matter whether or not you ever used D|S3, the Revelrie texture expansion was made in D|S3 so it assumes it will always be installed on a machine where the original Carnival Midway was also installed in D|S3.

Another difference is that the Revelrie files are .daz scenes for D|S3 while the Cotton Candy files are .duf scenes for D|S4.5+ — that might be enough to make the difference between loading and not loading in D|S4.6.

Whups, I think I just spotted your problem. You're saying Carnival Midway, I just noticed the screenshot and all your error messages are for a Carnival Midway Interior set — the games that go inside the midway tents. They're not the same product. Check that you've got Midway Interior and all its texture sets updated.

There have been lots of Carnival related problems like that, because DAZ has updated some, but not all, Carnival products to DUF files. That causes the incompatibilities like you are experiencing. Post in this thread, and I think you will get the help you need. Or write a support ticket.

Thanks for all the replies. I will just use the Poser Carnival Midway for now.

I was getting errors exactly like that in DS 4.6 Found out it was cos i did NOT have the "Legacy" files installed. I would just install the "DS" ones. Once I installed the "Legacy" file, the errors went away.

all of the base products for Carnival series has been updated. Midway fun is the outstanding one at the moment just waiting on the installers to go live. I will pull down the Revelrie textures and make sure they are also updated.
