Pulling my hair out over hair parting

Using Victoria 4.2

Some of the hairstyles I'm using are, Nightflower, Super Updo (Renderosity) and a few others.

The hair on my characters keeps leaving an ugly nasty part in the middle, as if character is losing hair starting at her forehead, and moving a few inches into her scalp.

I've tried looking everywhere for morph dials that might be affecting the head size, but everything seems normal.

Has anyone dealt with this, and does anyone know the remedy? I'm pulling my hair out over this hair issue! Any ideas?

Thanks much!

What you're looking for are "fit" and "adj" morphs. On older hair, it isn't uncommon to find them further down the hair's bones in the scene tab on the neck or somewhere similar. If all else fails, you can just adjust the scale of the hair slightly so that it pushes the hair out.

Hi, thanks much and sorry for the late response!

I did find a work around as well, to what you said.

Just in case it helps anyone else out there, here it is:

For this particular hair piece, I have to select my character from drop down menu (Vic 4)

    Select "Head"

Then on dials, look under "Morphs | Shapes"

    Double click the "HeadHairShort" dial.

Change the value of Min Limit, which sits by default at 0.00, and change it to -1.00.

Then I enter the "value" of 0.380.

Why it works like this, I don't know, but it gets rid of that huge ugly part taking place on this hair piece.

Thanks again for help and hope this might also help someone out there as well
