This problem has now been resolved, and you should all be receiving the 40% discount now.
Should we file tickets for the period before it was corrected?
I would imagine so.
I was one of those who bought the items when they were at 30% and not at 40% as the advertizing page promised them to be, and thus I ended up paying some 10$ more than I could have done if I'd been patient and waited. I did file a ticket for the faulty prices, but there was never any response to it. Nor have I read anything here about what was really going on and what the 'real' prices were supposed to be.
As a matter of fact it seems that it's a bit hard to know what to do in cases like these. Either you wait and hope that the prices might get adjusted and take the risk that the sale is gone or you jump on in time and hope to get a refund later, which in my case didn't happen. To me it feels like such a wobbly way to shop, I don't know if it's a cultural thing, but I've never been a gambler and I preffer clear and set rules from the start. I preffer to know how much a sale really is, when it starts and foremost how long it will last. I don't want to take chanses/risks like this like I'm on a stockmarket or in a casino, so this whole debacle got me quite put off, and next time there's a defunct sale like this, I don't think I'm going to bother.
I too bought and filed a support ticket. Usually my price adjustment/support tickets take about a week to process.
I agree, it is uncertain what to do when problems in the store occur, what the correct procedure is. I guess the only thing to do is wait and see.
Yeah, remember it was a long week end, and it's the immediate aftermath of a new figure release. I'd assume support is backed up and it might take a while to get your adjustment but they always get there eventually. :)
