How do Garibaldi Hair System and Look at My Hair compare?

I'm trying to decide between buying the Garibaldi Hair System or Look at My Hair and I was hoping to get some insight about what advantages one might have over the other.

Just from the promo material, I've noticed that Garibaldi shows a lot more examples of long, smooth hair, whereas Look at My Hair shows a lot more fur and short, kinky hair. Is this representative of their abilities and shortcomings? Can either of them "play" each other's pre-made hair? Why might someone prefer one over the other?

Neither of them use the other's presets, as far as I know.

I don't have Garibaldi, so I can't comment on it, or on differences between the two. I can say that LAMH does straight hair just fine, though. I have LAMH for the simple reason that it came out first, and meets my needs well enough that I haven't felt an urge to buy Garibaldi. Users who have Garibaldi seem pretty happy with it, too. Hopefully you'll get some more specific comparisons from others.

    Sand3,

You're not the first person to raise this question, there have been a least two threads on this subject before. Here's the URL for one of them:

    Cheers,
