Genesis2 question

Noob question...can Genesis2 be used in Poser10? I saw in my downloads it was bundled with my DS but as it took a few weeks to get my content into Poser don't know when I`ll have DS loaded.

Yes, but it requires the DSON Importer for Poser.

You need to have the DSON Importer for Poser installed before you can use DSON format content like Genesis and Genesis 2 in Poser.

ok so I cant install by hand but need to use the dson installer

There's no such thing as the "DSON Installer." There is the DAZ Install Manager, and that will install your content and plugins for you. This is not required to get your Genesis or Genesis 2 into Poser 10, but we highly recommend using the DAZ Install Manager to install your content and plugins.

What you need is the DSON Importer for Poser. This is a plugin for Poser that allows you to import DSON format content into the Poser Application.

You will also need the Poser Companion Files for whatever content you want to import into Poser.

When you click on Genesis from inside Poser, the Importer is what actually loads Genesis into Poser for you. It just translates the files so Poser can understand them.
