I have to turn subsurface colour to black so she is not glowing in the viewport
even with no lights on
was it intended like that ?
with this glow on its hard to see how the body reacts on lights

Poser or DAZ Studio? In DS, loading the default Victoria 6 preset, if I add a point light to the scene the unlit portions of the figure go pretty dark as expected - there's certainly no glow.

Yes thats normal for the AoA SSS shader. I agree it does make it difficult to see the effect the light is having on the model. I tend to temporarily lower the SSS strength on the skin in such instances, then turn it to original value when I intend to render. I also do not tend to apply the mats or SSS shader when shaping my characters as the ambient affect in view port makes it somewhat difficult to see the affect the morphs are having on the model

It is possibly a result of the Diffuse strength and the SSS strength being of a combined value over 100%. I have in the past went 40% diffuse strength and 60% SSS Strength for skin, or 50% for both and its much easier to see light on the characters. Ive not noticed this viewport ambient affect of SSS on other shaders, but Ive gotten used to it, it is a great shader imo :)

    Daz latest version yes
and turning off subsurface does nothing in this case
with just Gen2F its not like this
but even with a fresh V6 I just tested has this issue
and adding a light to the szene changes nothing

You could try turning Per Pixel Shading on or off (depending on whether it is already on or off). You can find that in the Interface section of the DAZ Studio Preferences.

Having it turned on gives you a more accurate preview of how the lights will behave when rendered, but it will use more system resources.
