So, about m6...

Assuming m6 is out right now, is there any reason to get it? Here is my problem...
I have several male characters that are made with M4. I have three I use very frequently. Their clothes, skin, and morphs are all for m4. I bought all three of them and altered them and they all pretty much require a non DAZ morph inj set, or something like that, from Runtime DNA, that is for M4.
So what happens if I get M6? Is it possible to transfer my characters somehow?

I like genesis 2 figures because of the way they bend, and they look good to me. M6's base shape is not my favorite, but with genesis x you can convert gen 4 figures to genesis 2.

    You will need :

I won't be using Genesis though. Ever. Because it doesn't work right on Poser.
    Thank you though.

Have you checked if Genesis 2 Male works for you?

I'd wager we can't persuade you to consider DSON?

Honestly, I'd stay with M4. There's no advantage to using the new tech if you're wanting to use older things not made for the figure, the utilities to convert Gen4 morphs to Genesis only work in DS, so unless you're wanting to work with DS to convert your items, you will only be able to use items specifically for Genesis 1 or 2 that are set up to work in Poser.

Also M6 is Genesis, not a standalone figure.

I'd suggest trying DSON and giving Genesis in Poser a shot. If it works to your liking, Generation X is a great tool and will allow you to port all your M4 shapes and characters into Genesis. That will give you the most latitude with new clothing set. You can also get the Genesis 2 bodyshapes for Genesis so you can buy clothes made for them and use them on Genesis.

Genesis does work in Poser. Genesis 2 (IE Micheal 6) works very well in Poser.

If anyone could make M6 versions of this outfit, I'd be so very very happy ;)

You could convert this yourself with no issue using sickleyields tool for the tunic and posing M4 in the shape of genesis/genesis2 and exporting the boots and loading them back in.

This is one of the first outfits I had converted from M4 and using the transfer tool rather than autofit, it converts very well.
