bone or skeleton fold as a seam

This seems like it should be simple, but I want to make an fold USING BONES that is straight. The tutorials seem to only work with characters.

This is how it works now

Any ideas?

PS, not quite sure it the images got embedded- I have them attached too. bone one is what I have, bone two is what I want.
