Weird PM Behavior with attachments

Is anyone else experiencing attachments in PM's disappearing after certain amount of time?

I have received several PM's that included attachments and as of now, they are all gone. Is this by design?

    I don't think I've ever received a PM with an attachment. Maybe this reply will bump it up where someone else can answer.

    if it was a download file the sender might have removed the original
    I have old pm's and images still in them if that is what you mean, box links etc too.
