I want to build a superhero based on a cancer patient, and could use hair help. Everything has too m

Young girl who digs Spiderman who has lost her hair in an unfun hospital.

I would like to make a superhero that looks close to her.

How can I get a skull cap with Hispanic skin tones?

Not completely bald, but just a nice outline of hair.

Felicity's skin with hair would be perfect, and I have that. That is the effect I want.

I did a hero with Felicity and it came out great.

They both have the same hair, just not very Hispanic.

I would like to do a cool superhero that looks more like her.

Recommendations on matching her skin tone and getting that low low hair?

Can't see the hair, or lack of it, in that little image

Did not really want to show her face. Just showing skin tone.

The hair is exactly what you would expect from chemo.

I just don't see any almost bald hair for females. What would be the best way to meet that?

I don't really know of any off the top of my head (see what I did there?), there are some shaved looking skull caps floating around but they look like healthy hair that's been shaved. You could try maybe with the hair room if you're using poser or the Look At My Hair plug-in in DS to add just sparse hair.

Check Renderosity for Alpha Scalp by StudioArtVartanian. Compatible with V4/M4/Genesis. Haven't tried it on G2F/G2M yet via autofit.

Standard transparency mapped hair tends to do sparse or short hair poorly as it depends on overlapping planes to give an impression of body. I think you probably need to look at one of the curve/fibre systems - Garibaldi Express or Look at My Hair fro DAZ Studio, Poser or Carrara's built-in hair systems, or an application like ZBrush with fibre hair - to do this well. If you are wanting the hair to be fine then you probably want the native system or plug-in for your application, rather than something like ZBrush, as hair exported to OBJ is hard to make fine.

    Works fine.
There's also Boy hair by OOT and Bice (I think) I'll see if I can find a link.
    It by 3Dream, free.

Here's a link but I think it might be too long and full for what you want.

What is the "Boy hair by OOT and Bice" you speak of?

    What is "3Dream,Free?"

I am new and still don't know where to lookup names. Is 3Dream a website or person?

Your post had no link in it.

why show the hair at all?
I would add a hood or cap as the patient does not need reminding of their illness.

One other possibility is to simply edit the transparency maps of the hair of your choice. If you open them up in an image editor; you will find that the hair transparency maps consist of drawn lines in white against a black background. You can then just paint over them with a coarser brush in black to make them sparse. One transparency map of particular utility is the "hair cap" that most hair products have. It already looks like stubble so you can just change the opacity of all of the other hair parts in the surface room to zero and then use the hair cap as the primary hair. You can then gild the lily by alter its transparency map by stippling it with black or grey to make a patchy scalp.

I bought the Alpha Scalp by StudioArtVartanian. It was cheap.

It was the first non-Dim thing I have ever bought.

I got it to work with Victoria 6 and the Domina skin using auto-fit.

    Thanks everyone for the tips.
