Reality 2 for DAZ Studio working in DS 4.6?

Does Reality 2 for DAZ Studio - the current version at Rendo - work in DS 4.6.2.120 (the latest stable release)???

Somehow I thought I had read/heard that it wasn't working for DS 4.6+

Reality 2.5 works with DS 4.6, I've forgotten if 2.5 was a free or payed update to 2.

version 2.5.1.122 is the version for DS 4, Windows, 64 bit, according to the filename at Rendo.

Now I'm off to find tuts on HOW to use it. LOL

I have Reality 2.5.1.122, and I know it works with DAZ Studio 4.6.2.118. Assuming that you have a valid license for Reality 2, it's a free upgrade on Pret-a-3D's site.

I believe the people that had issues with Reality 2 in the latest 4.6 iterations were actually running into a compatibility issue with the Octane for DS plugin. When the Octane plugin was removed, Reality 2.5 started working again for them.

I don't have Octane, so can't personally verify that. But I use Reality 2.5 with current 4.6 and have not had any issues. (FWIW, I do ALL my renders with Reality exporting to LuxRender.)

so far, I haven't had any problems running it with DS 4.6 No crashes or anything like that.

Of course, the learning curve is the biggest thing for me LOL. I'm STILL trying to get a handle on it. :D

It works on the Mac.Reality 3 for Studio though, seems to be moving into DAZ soon territory.
