Cannot shape the face of Genesis 2 male

Mmmmm...... feeling a bit stupid.

Loading a Genesis 2 male figure... (base or Michel 6)
Select Genesis 2 Head,
Actors, wardrobe and prop tag
Shaping tag
I can then see the dials for all parts of the figure (actor, waist, chest etc....) but the face seem to be deactivated....
This works perfectly for genesis 1 male or any genesis female figure....

puzzled....

Any idea of what I may have done wrong? (See attached screen capture for clues..)

Thanks,

Olivier

The Genesis 2 Male is the newest figure released. It will at this time Also have the least Morphs for shaping in Parameters due to that fact.

    Thanks

The parameter tabs shows poses dials... great...... not shaping dials...

Jaderail... Not sure I understand what you are trying to say... Do you mean that there is no shaping dials for the face of genesis 2 figures?

No, I'm just saying we as users have fewer morphs for G2M than the other figures at this time. That is all. I have DAYS of Genesis 1 face morphs just because Genesis 1 has more content sold to do that. G2M is still very new so less has been made to use. That is all. I look forward to more for G2M as time goes on.

Shaping morphs are considered to belong to the whole figure Select Genesis, not just the head, and the morphs will show up under Actor:Head

No difference whether I select the head or the whole figure.... The only morphs under Head is "propagating scale"
There are morphs for the neck and mouth but the face is deactivated and has no morphs...
all other body parts have morphs activated.... just the face is deactivated...

If I use a female figure... all sweet, I can morphs and shape her face.... But not with any of the male figures....except base genesis 1

Something is not correct in your install. This is just my Base G2M with the Head selected and only the Brow open. I admit it may have some morphs here that others do not, I do not know for sure, but I do know my G2M is the figure I have the least content for. Even then I do have some morphs in each area listed here in my Parameters with just the head selected.

I installed Genesis 2 Male on my testing computer and with his head selected in the parameter tab, I don't see any head shaping morphs. I do have a "Head Propagating Scale" morph and many head pose controls as you mentioned. It appears to me Genesis 2 Male Starter Essentials installer comes with no "head shaping" morphs.

Edit: There are no body shaping morphs either, just a few Propagating Scale morphs, nipple, navel morphs. If you've have installed optional morphs packs, then you have an installation location issue.

Edit-Edit: Morph packs for G2M will typically install in your content library folder (within a folder) in: \data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 2\Male\Morphs

If the user only has the Base figure then they should have none I believe, but I thought they posted they had M6. If they have M6 they should see some morphs in the head.

EDIT: On a re-read I see the issue. The OP only has the G2M figure. So no there are no shaping morphs in the Base G2M. And the Base G2M is not the M6 figure, it is just Genesis 2 Male, Michael 6 is a figure that uses the G2M as its base. You will need to buy morphs for the G2M before you can change it at all in any way.

Jaderail --- What you have in your screen capture are pose controls.... I have these too. No problem there. My problem is that I do not have any shaping controls for the face.

I did purchase some morphs packs for G2M and I see them all: chest, waist, legs etc...all, but the face.

I am also starting to think that I have an installation issue. But it seems strange that some morphs would install and run correctly and not others from the same pack, same install.... Perhaps a post install corruption....

Will reinstall these packs and see what happen.

    Thanks all.

LOL!! Well I'll be darned. I sure did list the pose controls. Try this instead and as noted it only list's with the full figure selected. I'm only human and I jump from Forum thread to forum thread so much I make mistakes....
    Sorry about that...
