May Mindblower problem

I put 3 new items from the May Mindblower promo in my cart + added 'Felicity HD' from Raiya's store.
But, I don't see any discount on that item as advertised : 'save up to 70% on related items from these artists'! :(
Anyone else having the same problem?

Indeed I have, sampled Simon 3D's musical instruments, which have been on my wishlist now since like forever. No discount. The only one which seems to be price reduced, is Tomalin.
I'm so over these sales which never work the way they are advertized.
For the ones that require the products to be bought all at the same time, the discount often doesn't show up until you're actually part way through the checkout process. You can give it a try -- it doesn't require you to actually process payment to see the discount.
Edit: Ah, I'm wrong. You shouldn't have to hit "proceed to checkout" to see the discount. In this case, you guys are right. No discount is showing, even on much older Raiya products. Hmmm.
Edit 2: Although with 3 new releases in the mindblower category, it WAS generously giving me a 60 cent (not 60 percent) discount on an unrelated PC item! LOL
yep, none of the discounts in Deviney's store (at least) show in teh cart when I have a new release in there. I suspect we need to wait a bit - as ALWAYS - because DAZ sales NEVER work the way they should at the beginning, when the emails go out. :sigh: I usually wait till the next morning to check them out when the discounts seem to have caught up... (I get the emails about 4pm in the afternoon due to my timezone)
Problem is that the sales for these items just last one day (as I understand it)...

Exactly. And this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME in a DAZ sale.
EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Even if this promotion was working.... having to buy 6-7 products at 30% off to get other products at 60-70% off is not that "mindblowing".... you are probably better off waiting for a fast-grab or a flash-sale. Of course there are 2-3 of these new items I will probably buy or wishlist because they rock in themselves.
We'll report this.
It should be 10% per new item, so 6 = 60% off, 7 = 70% off. ;)

What fun would a promo be if the discounts were simple and straight forward? :)
It says

The way I understood it was that since I had 5 items from the promo in the cart, all of them should be 50% off. Then again, I'm not a native speaker :p

You don't get the extra discounts on the new releases. The extra discounts apply to related products. Given the way DAZ applies discounts to the related products, even if you have seven products or however many it takes to approach the 70% discount, it doesn't mean you will actually get the full 70% off. It's that little phrase "get up to 70% off" that's the tip off. The discount won't exceed 70% but it also doesn't mean it will be 70%. I just love these convoluted promos.
It's still too early for anyone at DAZ to be in yet. They won't be in for at least another hour and a quarter and then they have to figure out what the problem is and get it fixed. Probably won't see a fix til closer to Noon EDT.
Jack's store pricing is screwed up too. If I go through the PC category page, the PC products like Fallen for the Rural Chateau show up at PC pricing. However, if I go through Jack's store page, the PC pricing doesn't show up. Yes, I made sure I was logged in. Jack's store page is showing Fallen for the Rural Chateau at 36% off rather than the PC price.

Got me hanging on that one. You'd think that after all this time with the current store software, they'd know but, oh, well...

They seem to have fixed it by removing all interesting things from the linked pages. I13 had a lot off good stuff in the sale an hour ago, now it's just really old products :-(
Apologies all. This sale was intended to offer significant discounts on back catalogs, but the links from the promo ended up pointing at the PA stores, rather than just the items on sale (thus including newer items). Obviously we messed up. Really am sorry.
Looks to have changed for the better but there seems to be a filter on some sort on the stores now, excluding some items that are not flagged as new (for example the Fiends Forever Bundle bu outoftouch).
Gee, Steve, while I appreciate your apology, it really isn't necessary. The problem is not yours alone. We who have been around many years have seen this same thing happen over and over and over. My question is, "WHY can't the sales function as they are advertised?" Is the problem with the IT department or with the advertising department? In my opinion, it is high time someone got fired for their incompetence because this just happens too often.

I just saw the corrected links to some REALLY old merchandise and have emptied $100.00 of product from my cart. Thanks DAZ! you really saved me a bundle with your "Mindblower Sale" - What blows my mind is that anyone would think this is a sale at all!!

Fun? Matter of personal opinion, I guess.
More likely to make me buy? Oh, making it simple would probably make me about 2000% more likely to buy.
As it is, this is a really weak sale unless someone's willing to buy at least a hundred dollars worth of product at one go, and that only brings your aggregate total discount to around 50%. Plus that "items not available for return" notice is usually a pretty good red flag that there's a better sale around the corner. I'll wait, thanks.
Which makes me wonder - are the items only not returnable if you used them to buy from the shops at the extra discount, or are they not returnable in general, because they are part of the sale...?
This is where the Catch-22 comes in. To get the discount, the new and related items from the PA sale must be in the cart together. Once they're in the cart together, the discount if applied. Once you buy at the discounted price, you can't return the items. You would have to submit a ticket about whether or not you could return the new release part of the order but since it's the new release purchase that triggers the discount, I'd tend toward you being told no.
Now if you just buy one of the new releases(no related products, no other discounts other than the standard intro discount), I don't see why DAZ wouldn't view it the same as they would any other purchase. Same would have to hold true if you purchased an item from the PA store at regular price even if it happens to be listed as a related product.
It's the discounts that trigger the no return policy.
Correct, if you don't buy any related items, or don't use the MAY-SAVE-5 coupon you still return whatever you bought as long as it is within the return window.
Incidentally we've just released a coupon that allows you to save $5.00 on any DAZ Original excluding new releases, items under $3.00, giftcards, and memberships. You just need to add the DAZ Original to your cart along with one of today's new releases and use the coupon code MAY-SAVE-5. All items must be in your cart simultaneously for the discount to apply. The only exception are those who purchased one of today's Mind Blower items before we launched the coupon. You can just use the coupon on a qualifying DO.
The coupon is a 1 time use coupon.
Due to popular demand we have expanded each of the artists' May Mind Blower categories to include newer items.
That's an awesome way to fix a mistake :) Does it take time to propagate? I still only see the same 10 old items in I13's related items.
The $5 discount also works on giftcards by the way!
