Genesis 2 morphs

do you need to buy these http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-s-morphs-bundle and http://www.daz3d.com/people/genesis-2-female-morphs-bundle

to make custom morphs or will the free base work?

    If you mean you want to sculpt the mesh, in ZBrush or Blender or whatever, and import it with one of the Morph Loader plug-ins then all you need is the base figure and the application.

    No you don't. Just export the base figure .ojb, and edit. it.
