It has in the past. Fairly recently even, like during March Madness. The discounts were substantial from what I understand.

It does, I got 8.5 Pro for $85.50 during sale, I was waiting for version 9 to come out at the time but it looks like that may be delayed.

    EDIT:

And there's always regular offers on models, new releases etc, starting from $1.99 (where the none club price start from the $8 mark and upwards). I saved more than the quarterly club cost on my first order. Add to that you get a $6 off coupon each month and you almost recoup the cost with those alone.

Just read that back to myself and I sound like an advert for DAZ - I'm not a DAZ employee and I'm not an affiliated artist (my skills are far from being classed as artistic). I just know a good bargain when I find one. And the folks round here are very friendly.

When I bought C8.5 Pro, in the New Year, the extra discount from being a PC member was more than the cost of the membership. Everything else is just gravy. :) I thing the March sale was even cheaper than when I bought it.

It may be another month or two before the next time it's on sale, but it's definitely worth hanging on if you can wait. And the extras in Pro are definitely worth having over and above standard.

TELL me about it. I was beginning to think I'd have to build a boat earlier in the year! But instead the wind blow part of my roof off! >:(
And how did I know. The rain came in!!!!! (That's not a joke by the way)

So is that your punchline for the render compo? I'd love to see that one stay within the Daz T&Cs;. ;-)

That sucks! We got hit by the nastiest windstorm I ever recall during this past winter. I've finally finished cleaning and fixing the damage from that - the final stage cutting up all of the twisted steel and bringing it to the steel center. I could have/should have been able to play in Carrara instead... if only that wind hadn't become so unreasonably strong!

It's been raining all spring here too... but my roof works... luckily... for now ;)

So... on a side note, has your helmet shown you many Clone Wars episodes yet? Great show, isn't it!!! :coolhmm:

It certainly has and I'm loving it. My guess is your daughter prefers this to original because there's more and better scripted female characters in it.

If you haven't seen it already I think you'll like "Appleseed Ex Machina", that'll get the Carrara creative juices flowing. :-)

You can see a clip here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZkag7M_i5A

You've got a steel roof? Doesn't that get very hot in summer?

Awesome clip! Gotta get that movie :D
Nope... not a steel roof. The steel was from my Wife potting house. Steel frame, open room. We stored a bunch of our gardening stuff in there and surrounded it with tarps. Gone now :(

Had a steel roof before though, and loved it. It sounded really awesome in the rain, and it was well insulated, so it was still nice upstairs in the summer.

Man, we should get a "Gotta See Movies and Episodes" thread going! I'd love to pick your brain for more thoughts! :)

    I sense a soccer hooligan fist-fight a-brewing!

Of course it's all pointless as we in the states know what a real football game is like. :P
