Daz does not load any models ??

I am new to the program, have instaled it via the installer but as it starts I do not see any models to load to the main window.
Is there anything wrong and how can I fix this.
I have the attachement of how the program appears.
Any suggestions to help ,welcome

    Hi, did you click on the folder named "My Daz 3D Library" on the top right? You should see more sub-folders open on the right side. You may need to scroll to the right to see the subfolders.

    Also, I have a feeling that the content management service is not running. Can you click the start orb (button), go to Daz 3D -> DAZ Content Management Service -> and click Start DAZ Content Management Service? That should start the service.

    You must install the Content as well, so far you have just installed the Main program.
    You will find these in your Products Library...
    Genesis Starter Essentials
    Genesis 2 Starter Essentials
    Lights and Shaders for DAZ Studio (I may have this name wrong but Lights and Shaders is correct)
    You need to install all those to have the Free content to play with.

    Also Content Installed by the Installer (DIM) will not Show until the Folder is Mapped to be used by DAZ Studio here is a default mapping needed to have content to load...

    Thank you for yuor time and all valuable info about that.
    I inclue images of the currrent.
    All destinations set up as in your example and also included all the installed content.
    Somewhere in another forum about poser I have read that models in poser 9 for instance would not load cause of an updated internet explorer so one had to degrade the internet explorer fr the models to load.

    I run windows 7 64 and newest flash as well my i.e. is 11.

    Thank you , that gave me the idea where to look for.
    OK , I went to "people" from the library Content menu and selected that model. There is also a female model, is that it correct ?? to load the model to work on ?

    OK , so thanks again for the info and help. I wouldn't have found it without it.
    Now if I want to add any other models or characters
    1) where can I find these ( some free stuff if possible)
    2) Can models from other programs i.e. Poser pro be added there ?

    Your content directory manager screen cap has different locations for "My Library" -- they should be the same
