DAZ Studio 4.6 to Marvelous Designer3

I am a novice.

I am looking at designing my own clothing using MD3 but am having trouble exporting a genesis/genesis2 figure to the MD3 avatar. I load the figure in DAZ and export it in the Collada format, but when I import it into MD3 all I get is the model. There is no information for Bounding Volumes and Bounding points. Do these have to be added manually or is there somewhere I could get a DAZ model with them already added.

Any other suggestions on software to make DAZ clothing would be welcome.

It's been a very long time since I used MD3 but from what I recall the bounding dots have to be added manually. You can then save it as an avatar. There's something you can do too to get that avatar to load as the default too but I can't remember what. Saving the project under a certain name in the Program Files directory if I remember correctly.

Pity MD3 had to jack the price so much. I really liked the program for providing a decent base mesh to make clothing from.
