Scale dial is missing ... Now what?

I bought a WWII gun prop set from rendo, and the weapon I need has no scale dial at all, but it's a touch small for the character. Now what?

If there is really no other solution, then you can always make the character a bit smaller, so that the sizes match. Depends of course on your whole scene, if this is useful.

In the Parameters tab make sure "Show Hidden Dials" is on.

In Daz create a "New null" under the create menu. You can give it a name if you want or just leave it as 'null'. Once it's created it's invisible. Now select your prop item and parent it to the Null. Once parented you can select the null and use scale, rotate, and etc and it will change the prop to your needs.

When you get everything the size you need, you can parent the null to your figure if you need to and the prop will 'follow' the figure's poses.
